Make an In-Kind Donation  

Metro relies on in-kind donations from groups and individuals to offset operating costs.  These donations allow Metro to spend more of its operating budget on programs and services for its residents and clients.  See the wish lists below for donation ideas.

Emergency Shelter
Wish List

  • Paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, kleenex)
  • Cleaning products (disinfecting spray, bleach wipes, dish soap, steel wool pads)
  • Office supplies (copier paper, blue and black pens, postage stamps, bulletin boards, dry erase boards, glue sticks, white out, Scotch tape, Post-It notes)
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Hand sanitizing wipes
  • Latex or polyurethane gloves (size S or M)
  • Bath towels
  • Trash bags (all sizes)
  • Twin bedding (sheets, bedspreads, pillowcases)
  • Pillows
  • Twin size matress pads
  • Pop up laundry bins 
  • Bus tickets

  • Cleaning Supplies (bleach, surface kleener, floor cleaner, deoderizor, dishwashing liquid)

Bring in a couple of these items on your own, or have your group do a supply drive for the shelter. We appreciate any help with these much needed items!
