
Community kitchen in the Transitional Housing Program
Community Needs:
- Long term rehabilitation residency programs for women with persistent mental illness, suffering from abuse or recovering from chemical dependencies to provide the necessary skills for independent living.
Transitional Housing Program Services:
- Long term shelter & rehabilitation facility for women suffering from mental illness, abuse or chemical dependencies.
- Provide onsite individually tailored case management, counseling and rehabilitative services including: medical and mental assessments, coordination of psychological treatment and therapy, occupational therapy, counseling, medical health treatment and drug dependency treatment.
- Provide basic life skills training in areas of living skills, social skills, personnel disease management, community service, basic job skill retention training, GED training, behavioral management training, and computer training through on site and collaborative programs.
Individual & Community Benefits:
- Prepares mentally ill, abused or chemically dependent women to move back into the community as contributing members of society.
